I want/need a new Apple nanopod. I have an IPod and I had a Samsung Flash memory mp3 player but it died. I am sure Apple is waiting until just after I buy to introduce a new one. Any ideas when it is coming out? And will it be larger memory 8Gb for the same price as the present 4GB ? Or are they going to add something else which I may not care for. Then I can just buy a 4GB for less money.
It seems like with Microsoft wanting to do something in this field Apple will have to do something more.

The rumour is that the new iPod nano will have a metal case.
I’m not sure about how much storage space there will be, but have you considered a SanDisk Sansa e200 series device? They offer more functionallity for less money and are available in up to 6GB with an 8GB model coming. Sure, it’s not quite as easy to navigate and it’s heavier, but the screen is really nice.
