Should mods add links when splitting/temping posts?

Should mods add links to temped posts?

  • Yes, it would be nice
  • No, I don’t see the point
  • I don’t care

Sometimes, but not always, temped posts do not make sense unless one knows what thread they come from. I think that since these posts are sent to another discussion forum, it would facilitate the discussions to know the basis of such posts; to know what context they were posted in. That’s why as a mod, I often made a point of posting links. Few mods do that, and I wonder what others think about that.

This is not a big deal at all, BTW, just a random thought, and I’m thinking why not take five minutes to post a poll to find out what some of you think. I just read a thread in temp now, and I am clueless what it’s about, or where it comes from. Not the first time this happens, hence this question.

Cheers!

Aren’t posts sent to the temp forum because they’re, er… a bit rubbish and not worthy discussion ?
