Silver Tip Persian Femal to good home

We are looking for a good home for an older (4-5 year old) silver tip Persian. She’s gorgeous, independent, and incredibly affectionate. We adopted her six months ago, and are having to find a home for her because we are leaving Taiwan unexpectedly and are having trouble figuring out how to have the two mutt cats that my son is most attached to taken care of until next summer, and we figure that asking someone to care for three for six months would be too much.

We’ve dubbed this one Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but in fact, she basically eats, sits on a table, and…ermm…purrs when petted. VERY low maintenance cat. Brushing is easy, a few minutes in the morning and evening until her patience runs out does the trick (she’ll letcha know when she’s done).

Her only other quirk is that she licks…yes LICKS…plastic bags. She doesn’t eat them, hasn’t had a hairball problem (yet, but the potential is there)…doesn’t LIKE expensive canned food as treats, prefering rotgut…

PM me if you want more information, I’m going to be in and out and and unavailable by phone…

This one is taken care of. I’d delete it, but its such an incredible story what happened. We went outside to take out trash, and a young woman was in the process of renting the apartment next door. We mentioned we were leaving and she asked if she could just see the differences in the two places (hers is MUCH bigger and cheaper). As soon as she walked in the door, the Persian wrapped around her feet, and she did something I didn’t think possible. She picked Buffy up. It turns out that she grew UP with cats, had no cat, and was looking for the right cat, but hadn’t considered a purebred because they are a.) expensive and b.) she (like us) doesn’t differentiate amongst cats based on price.

She looked stunned when we offered Buffy, but in the conversation we’d established that this was a genuine cat person, down to her asking where we got our litter because she knew that changing litters can trigger some retaliatory behavior on the part of the cat.

Sometimes things go incredibly RIGHT…

Wow, lucky break there!
