New on my site: the text of a 1936 book on Sin Wenz (Xin Wenzi), which can be considered a precursor of Hanyu Pinyin. One of its revolutionary features is that it omits tone indications in almost all instances.
Wherever did you get hold of that book?
I just happened to come across a reference to it on the Net: US$6 from a used book store in the States.
In other words, I was very, very lucky.
