My feelings as well. Although I do feel for his family. I wish them the best. There are no grey areas here. He knew the punishment and he paid the price. Unfortunately, his family has to live with it now.
I think he should get a Darwin Award for taking a flight that was TRANSITING through Singapore, instead of taking a direct flight. I mean, for fuck’s sake, why would he arrange a STOPOVER IN SINGAPORE when he was carrying a pound of heroin??
Wondered about that too . . as Sat TV man suggested elsewhere, a transit through Bangkok may have meant a possible death sentence commuted to life and possibly out after 10 years on a king’s pardon.
What I was wondering was if there is some sense that Oz customs are going to be less suspect on someone coming via Singapore for the all too obvious reason.
