So, Whoopi demonstrated how obnoxious she could be at the Kerry fundraiser. Now she is illustrating her appalling ignorance.

Whoopi Goldberg lashed out at Republicans again yesterday, branding them hypocrites for trying to “punish” her for joking about the President.

WTF!? She is permitted to make vulgar jokes about President Bush, but Republicans are not permitted to comment on her jokes or to hold opinions regarding the same? What is it about the concept of free speech and expression that so many liberals simply do not seem to understand?

Fired from her gig as SlimFast spokeswoman, the salty entertainer hit back at Republicans who threatened a SlimFast boycott over sexual puns she made about President Bush’s name at a Democratic fund-raiser.

What? Republicans are not permitted to express their opinions? Only liberals are permitted free speech? Is that it?

The fact that I am no longer the spokesman for SlimFast makes me sad, but not as sad as someone trying to punish me for exercising my right as an American to speak my mind.

Uh, Whoopi, did you speak your mind? Yes. Now, take it like a big girl… others are now speaking their minds. That’s the way free speech works. You speak your mind, and then we respond with our thoughts on the issue. I guess Whoopi thought everyone had to agree with her… is that what Whoopi thinks the right to free speech is all about?

Kerry, who is trying to woo swing voters, did not stand by his celeb supporters. On the defensive, he distanced himself from Goldberg and said through spokesmen that he thought her comments were inappropriate.

Gee, why isn’t Whoopi complaining about Kerry’s lack of support for her idiotic jokes?

They weren’t speaking for me, and they weren’t speaking for John Kerry… the ticket is focused on our positive, optimistic vision of hope.

I wonder why Whoopi isn’t being critical of these guys?

Diversity promoter Asa Khalif, who has made headlines for accusing celebrities of insensitivity, cried foul in the Goldberg firing. “I smell racism from beginning to end,” said Khalif, head of Racial Unity USA in Pennsylvania. “SlimFast must realize that black women have every right to voice their views.”

WTF? Did Whoopi, a black woman, voice her views or not? She did indeed voice her views. Many people thought she did so in a vulgar and disrespectful fashion, and they are now voicing their collective views regarding Goldberg’s comments.

Do these liberals have a clue as to what constitutes free speech? Apparently not. They apparently believe that freedom of speech and expression means that they can say anything they please and nobody should be entitled to rebut, refute or otherwise comment on their speech.

How unbelievably fucking ignorant. Its just like the Dixie Chicks… They commented on President Bush critically, and then cried when lots of folks disagreed with them. Is that what liberals think… that they have the right to free speech and the rest of us have the right to agree with them?

Americans generally regard the first and second amendments to our Constitution as the two pillars that support our republican democracy. The first amendment of course guarantees free speech. The second amendment grants us the right to bear arms. These rights are deemed fundamental to preserving and maintaining our form of government and civilian participation while ensuring that the government does not encroach our liberties. Generally speaking, Democrats believe the first amendment right to free speech is more important thean the second amendment right to bear arms… naturally, as the Democrats believe in large government. I just wish the Democratic party would educate its supporters that free speech is a right granted to all Americans, not only to liberals…
