If you can get a Hinet ADSL line in your building, you can get the same speed ADSL line from TFN.
By law Chunghwa is supposed to provide equivalent service whether you are a Hinet or TFN customer. In practice, the only time I had a circuit problem at home, TFN and Chunghwa managed to sort it out and fix the problem in less than an hour, so this potential problem is somewhat theoretical. Meanwhile, the problem of Hinet’s performance consistently sucking is far from theoretical. How many discussions are there on Forumosa about Hinet’s problems versus how many about TFN’s problems? There’s no comparison.
