Smallpox blankets to American Indians lie exposed
Ward Churchill and his less than truthfull career, the subject of this thread, has been the subject of a multi-part investigative piece by the Rocky Mountain Times. An extreme amount of information is being unearthed about his fraud, plagarism and deceit that he has used to further his personal agenda. The ducks, as it were, are being lined up. What will result is a good guess at this point.

He has been the darling of certain radical leftist fringe groups for quite a long time. It should be fun to watch how quick they distance themselves from him as his reputation goes up in smoke. ( Which is what it was built upon)
I guess the investigation is over, in your opinion? Your “personal agenda” seems to be to take a swipe at this guy, since you don’t really state much of your position except to quote an article.

Re: “It should be fun…”, there’s nothing wrong width admiting fault, is there? We should all be able to admit fault and correct ourselves. If it all turns out to be backwards, wouldn’t you admit that you were wrong?

The Pope was a Nazi Soldier…???
Oh my, you are believing some of the wacko theories on the internet…lol
I do agree that NBC warfare is a terrible thing. In that we agree.
The Pope has admited this. And by Pope, I mean the -new- German pope who was drafted into the German army in the last days of the war. Don’t let knee-jerk reactions get in the way of the facts…

How does this come into play? I have been very clear that Churchill has been a fraud, a plagarist, a liar and a manipulator of anti-US opinion his entire friggin’ career. Have you actually read any of this thread?
Churchill will be thrilled to see the likes of you as his defenders.
Re: “It should be fun…”, there’s nothing wrong width admiting fault, is there? Balls in your court…

But the Sun had a headline that said from Nazi Youth to papa razi so that must mean something.

And as to this business of rowboat’s, Hobbes, I am shocked at your encouragement of these mindlessly random views on American history. If I were to present such sentiments I would expect to be shot down, not encouraged. Please reconsider.

Love Fred Smith v.

That would be ‘World History’ my good man. The Church of Rome is a player on the world stage.

This postings of this nimrod is an attempted revision of World history.

Hobbes…Charge forth!

No basis in truth? It’s a question.

I’m not arguing about the details, I’m merely trying to point out that you tend to state your opinions as fact. This I find worthy of sitting at home on a Saturday night to try to point out.

I don’t even know how to answer this question: “How is posting this results of an investigative journalism series by the Rocky Mountain Times ‘my personal agenda’?” It answers itself, really. Starting this thread is your personal agenda, just like mine is to drive you crazy.

Clealy, “Nazi soldier” is ambigious. He was not a Nazi party member. So, I don’t want the ball, really, but thanks.

And…come on. Nimrod? Nimrod?!? Is that the best you can do?

Look, this thread’s gone stale except for you and I taking swipes at each other. Let’s have a time out, then snack time, and then maybe we can meet after school. Seriously, no hard feelings intended.

The reason I said “Nazi soldier” specifically was because that how the press described Prince Harry’s costume. Some people argue that there was no such thing as Nazi soldiers, just German soldiers for a Nazi government. Generally we say “Nazi soldier” to refer to a soldier working for Nazi Germany as I have seen in the Sound of Music among other places.

Search forumosa. Nobody has touted Ward Churchill’s “historicizing” in support of anti-military/USA.

I feel like these are good things to discuss. But is it important for me to distinguish whether only the English Army or also the US Army attempted to eradicate Native Americans with smallpox infected blankets in the dawn of the U.S.A.?

Well, apparently the Brits did it…

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Population … ples#fn_11

"One of the most contentious issues relating to disease and depopulation in the Americas concerns the question of whether or not American indigenous peoples were intentionally infected with diseases such as smallpox. There is no evidence that the Spanish attempted to deliberately infect the American natives.8

However, there is one documented incident in which intentional infection was attempted by the British. During Pontiac’s Rebellion in 1763, some Native Americans (“Indians”) launched a widespread and effective offensive against British soldiers and settlers. Fort Pitt, with a garrison of 330 men (and over 200 women and children inside), was attacked on June 22, 1763, primarily by Delaware (Lenape) Indians. Too strong to be taken by force, the fort was kept under siege.

On 24 June 1763, the commander of Fort Pitt gave representatives of the besieging Delawares two blankets that had been exposed to smallpox, in hopes of spreading the disease to the Indians in order to end the siege. Indians in the area contracted smallpox. It is impossible to verify how many people (if any) contracted the disease as a result of the Fort Pitt incident; the disease was already in the area and may have reached the Indians through other vectors. Even before the blankets had been handed over, the disease may have been spread to the Indians by native warriors returning from attacks on infected white settlements.9

Although British General Jeffrey Amherst is usually associated with this incident, by the time he suggested trying to spread the disease to the Indians, officers at Fort Pitt had already made the attempt, apparently on their own initiative. It is certain that these British soldiers attempted to intentionally infect Indians with smallpox; what is uncertain is whether they succeeded."

American’s may have used other means to commit genocide…

People here are guilty before proven innocent?!?! It seems the whole basis here is “Oh there isn’t evidence the Americans didn’t do as their English counterparts, so they are probably guilty”. What kind of hogwash is that?

Thats like saying there isn’t evidence yet that everyone on Forumosa aren’t child rapists and molested when young so therefore they all must be until proven otherwise. Utter trash!

Ward called the innocent people of 9/11 “Little Eichmans” which is really offensive considering some of them were my friends or family of friends that have nothing much to do with anything politically or economically. Ward is a whacko.

A bit more on the Ward Churchill debacle.

Editor’s note: This is the second of a 10-part series excerpted from Jack Cashill’s eye-opening new book, “Hoodwinked: How Intellectual Hucksters Have Hijacked American Culture.” As Cashill shows, over the last century “progressive” writers and producers have been using falsehood and fraud as their primary weapons in their attack on America. Today, Cashill shows pseudo-Indian Ward Churchill is just the tip of the iceberg.

This Churchhill guy sounds like a real idiot, but what is worse is holding him up as the representative of the left and screaming about how the sky is falling and how those lefties are eroding our culture.

You need to do that. You need a scapegoat to incite the masses.
