So this is what the kids are learning at school now? ...To persecute people

Apparently this “essay” was the awarded the “best of the week” at a cram school (just because of the good grammar and sentence structure!).
I wonder if the parents “helped” write it. Seem very odd views for a 12 year old to have.

Also it’s a very strange subject to be setting as homework: “Who would you persecute if you were president?”

Well some 12 yr olds are taught to hate others if they’re not from your religion.

Agreed, but they are sadly not that uncommon amongst certain groups of adults :frowning:

Except for those people who come Muslim countries to help old Taiwanese people

Yeah. They sure like people who work for near-slave wages.

They forgot the Jews, Foreigners, Neets and mentally disabled.
If they managed to broaden their views on who to persecutie, they can have a good future in politics. They could even found their own party. Like National Socialistic Worker’s Party.

We have that in Taiwan already. It’s called the New Party and Chinese Unification Promotion Party. Lmao

That essay really does sound like the parents talking. Unfortunately, kids don’t get to choose their parents. Hopefully the kid will soon realize what bigots they are.

The topic is bad. It’s almost like it was set to get responses like this.

“ The teacher encouraged the children to write, saying that regardless of their ideas and content, they only looked at the grammar structure and sentence fluency scores, but only cared about the structure. I ignored the content of the students’ thoughts”

Okkkkkk. Makes sense now :exploding_head:

I would say blame the parents for teaching this kid hatred. I am sure that the parents are worshippers of the KKK. As for the cram school teacher that made this essay the best
essay of the weak, this goes to show how even Han Chinese people like other Northeast
Asians can be very gullible and stupid to not identify this as hate speech.

And seeing how there is religious hatred added to this, I am not surprised if the cram
school is run by Christians, or if the parents of this kid who wrote this are Evangelical
imposters.

Being in an ethnocentric society, this kid will never know what bigotry means.

Reminds me of speech I heard at a speech contest here in maybe 2016 or 2017. It was something like “If I were president, I would make sure everyone had a gun. No one would be allowed to leave their home without one. We would have much safer schools if everyone was armed because only people with guns can stop people from shooting others. I would also build a wall around the whole country. Because people from other countries cause every problem we have” and went on from there. I know the kid didn’t understand sarcasm. I also know that the teachers wrote the speech. I will never understand the use of English as a jumping off point for helping preach BS
