Where can I find some nice pictures to hang on my wall in Taipei???
My bedroom has 4 pretty dull walls which I’m sick of looking at all day, I want to know where I can get some cheap pictures to make it look nicer. I don’t mean poster of Lady Gaga or some pop band (I’m not 13) but something mature and sophisticated like myself. 
Buy a book of prints you like and frame some of the pages.
Scrolls are available at the Palace Museum.
Cool handcrafted paper can be framed.
Large fans look good. Or paper umbrellas, without the handle of course.
The shops at the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Taipei Fine Arts Museum also sell nice prints.
If I’m not totally mistaken Eslite would also be an option.
In Heping East Road around Guting MRT station there are several shops that sell Taiwanese paintings as do a lot of the crafts markets around town.
If you’re looking for something in particular you could always order online, http://www.allposters.com/ has everything from Lady Gaga over Mount Everest to retro French adverstisments.
Or check http://www.etsy.com/ to find something more uique like screen printed posters.
Went to both of the art museums recommend, a very small and choice of postcard pictures not worth bothering with. I might just have to keep on searching somewhere else.
You can also try printed fabric (a quick, cheap solution, probably not long term.) Check out the fabric by the roll at Ikea.
Actually I did go to IKEA and there is some good choice, what I decided in the end was to buy some frames and print some of my favourite photos and frame them.
