Songs that you know on the radio with JUST ONE NOTE

You got any songs you can recognize on the radio with just the first note?

I got a coupla right here:

  1. Gordon Lightfoot - the wreck of the edmon fitzwhatever

  1. Hollies - the air that I breathe

what you got ?

Crazy Train

Those aren’t notes, they’re chords. And I’m dammed impressed that anyone can recognize a song from just one chord (or note).

AC/DC Hell’s Bells.

A Hard Day’s Night (by the first chord)

Beatles - just another day

I honestly thought this meant “songs with just one note”. That would be a way more interesting thread.

Anyway, lots, surely, but for some reason this not-particularly-good RHCP song springs to mind:

I’ve narrowed it down to just drums or percussion…one note.

  1. When the Levee Breaks, Led Zeppelin
  2. Dance the Night Away, Van Halen
  3. It’s the End of the World as We Know It, R.E.M.
  4. Honky Tonk Women, Rolling Stones
  5. Low, Cracker

The Reason, by Hoobastank:

You Shook Me All Night Long, by AC/DC (though it is a chord and not just a note):

I’m trying to remember that one song that goes, “daaaaaaaa”.

I can name this song in 1 power chord

I guess that’s easy when most of the songs consist of 3 power chords LOL.
I was wondering what Asian country that was in…strangely popular…it was Mexico

Most so-called classic rock can be readily recognized pretty damn quick, due to the complete saturation of the North American airwaves.
I must have listened to this enough to compensate for such horrible overexposure to almost sense its’ impending soul-soothing.
