P.S. Are those damning rumors of Ma and Soong being gay true? I have heard that one so many times. A friend of a friend who’s an old professor, blah, blah, blah. Has anyone else heard this? I doubt it, though. Ma has terrible taste in suits and James Soong couldn’t get a decent hair dye job to save his life.

I got the chance to scrutinize them up close the other day, basically stare at the horrible buttons on Ma’s suit and Soong’s dyed hair for an hour. It was weird what they were wearing, as if Ma was dressing to look old (as in 30 years older), while Soong was dressing to look younger, with a bright orange tie.

Seriously though, I remember when I first arrived there was a rumor running rampant which linked Soong to Nicky Wu (in Chinese: Wu Chi-lung) of Tiger Team (aka: Laohu Dui) fame.
Never heard anything about Ma. If I had to pick, I’d say Soong.

Because they were involved in the cover-ups of political murders (one a US citizen) only 20-odd years ago. These 2 bastards are still involved in politics here. Strange how South Africa and Cambodia have both had trials and investigations but Taiwan refuses to even think about the recent past. Ancient? Irrelevant? Sounds like something Soong or Ma might say. :?
