if i told my soulmate she was my soulmate she wouldn’t be my soulmate anymore.probably run the other way. sometimes soulmates can’t be anymore than that. their spirits touch but their minds and bodies never do. it’s something to write songs about i guess. that’s the way it works for me.

EDIT: It’s not a film, it’s an episode of Saturday Night Live. And it was Tom Hanks who said it…
EDIT PART DEUX: He was playing a character called the Boot Black or something and it was in medieval times and these two women were cat fighting over him. So he broke up the fight and said something like “Why don’t we just settle this over 3-way sex.” Can’t find the exact quote without getting into a lot of trouble at work

I don’t think I have found my soulmate quite yet, but along the way I have met a few soulless mates.

Now you’ve hurt my feelings. 
I think for any one person there are countless “soul mates” out there. I reckon its basically about complementary personalities. The rest is situational and entirely up to fate.
