Does anybody know a good spa and/or massage place in the East part of Taipei city? I would want to go with the boyfriend and don’t want to be seperated at the entrance and then spend 1 or 2 hours on my own. If I needed that, I could just go alone.
The place I go to regularly is on Yanji st. Lane 160 # 5. It costs about 8 or 900 for an hour massage and you can have it with your friend on the next massage table to yours or in the Thai style setting they’ve got. Excellent massage.
Thank you Fox, that’s what I wanted to hear. We’ll check that place out. Next time you go (before I do), could you post some more info like phone number, opening times?
I’m not sure what Taiwanese massage is. Shiatsu can be one of the most painful massages available because of the emphasis on hitting pressure points.
This massage is very relaxing. They soften you up nicely for the walk. There is no manipulation.

Thanks, I have found that the Taiwnese massages I’ve had before have been painful and hard. I need something like ‘kneading dough’ because of this serious knot in my shoulder that I’m determined to get rid of …Okay TMI but thanks for the info
There is a place named “Sakura” located on Ren Ai Road Section 4 number 110 (intersection of Ren Ai and Tun Hwa). Phone is 2707-8080. They are open 7/7 and 11am to 3am. It is more a massage place where both gender can be together in the same room but they also do facials. It is quite expensive, around TWD 1600 for 1h1/2 but very confortable and clean and classy.
