It seems that for a long time, huge amounts of Chinese-language SPAM come in every day to my email accounts on hotmail, gmail, yahoo, full of SPAM I cannot read that is in Chinese.
Question: how do these SPAMMERS know I am living in a Chinese-speaking country?
Of course, I get English-written SPAM, too,but it’s a minority compared to all the Mandarin SPAM. Since I do not use com.tw in my email addresses, how do they find me?
Have you ever posted your e-mail address(es) on a Chinese-language web site? Please take my advice - never post your e-mail address anywhere on the interntet - Spam bots will find it.
Thanks. What is a SPAm bot and how does it function?
It works the same as google, looking at any websites it can find. Whereas google copies the whole page for searching, these bots look for email addresses (anything with a @ ), stores them, then spams them.
