Hi i’m looking for the system administrator of the site. I’m not sure if the admins of this forums is also the system administrator. Anyways can someone point me to the right direction on who runs the scripts on this site. I just found a hole where spammers could collect email addresses of members of this site due to faulty scripting. I’m just concerned about our identities, thats all. Please email me for the details. Folks - gwumpee and I are exchanging messages and have not yet identified the problem. We do know this:
- this occurred on Taiwanted.com, not the Forums
- gwumpee has been unable to repeat the problem consistently (2 out of 4 attempts)
- this problem seems to be isolated to gwumpee - no one else has reported a problem like this
- gwumpee tried using other Forumosa IDs, but could NOT acquire their email addresses this way - so spammers cannot collect addresses of members of this site in this manner
gwumpee disagrees that this is their browser’s problem, because it was the first time they used that computer. This doesn’t mean it still could not be isolated to that computer
Until we can get more specific details about whether there is a problem in the first place, we will not change Taiwanted.com
