Hi people- I’ve been seeing rumors on these forums that the government may be relaxing regulations on foreigner’s work permit requirements (namely, 2 years of post-graduate work exp. for Bachelor’s graduates, and 1 year of post-graduate work exp. for Master’s graduates). Any idea when these laws will be relaxed (if at all)?
I’m actually a US citizen interested in working in TW. I’ve already scouted out a company but they tell me that they probably can’t offer me a job because as far as they know, the current law states 2 years of post-graduate work exp. for people w/ Bachelor’s degrees. I graduated with a BA in May 2008, so the most I have now is 1 year of full-time post-grad. work exp.
