Spring Scream was definately awesome last year, thinking of havin another go. Last time just pitched up, found camping spot, didn’t even have to pay and that was that, free to party like a wild person.
But now, reading their official site, they say to camp this year we need a ‘camping permit’ as camping spaces are limited, they than give zero info on as how to get our hands on this ‘permit’. Any clue as to how I go about obtaining one??
Oh, and how about booking a ticket for the ‘direct bus’, I know there was one last year, dunno bout this year??
My boyfriend called the number that was on the Spring Scream website (springscream.com/2008SSRR/about.html) and reserved campsites for us, that number is:0936220833, and they request that you call between 14:00-21:00 only. The camp sites are in the national park campground next to the festival, and run at 1000NT each. I had tried calling before and didn’t get a lot of help because I don’t speak much Chinese, but my boyfriend does. I’d recommend having a Chinese speaking friend help make the call if you don’t speak Chinese.
