Where is a decent squash court in Taipei (other then American Club or similar exclusive and expensive venue)
I am arriving in Taipei on June 15th. I would be interested in playing Squash with any intermediate level players provided the court can provide equipment, as I don’t feel it is worth it to bring my own from home. Anyone interested reply in private.
Thanks.
I know of one on MingShen East of GwongFu. Let us know what area you are looking for. I will get the address for you if you are interested.
I want Raquetball if anyone can find it.
Am looking for a squash club in and around ZhongXiao DunHua area? Do you have details for the one mentioned below on Minsheng? Am also needing a playing partner - nothing more than intermediate. If interested let me know on ejmdallas@hotmail.com
Any squash courts near Yonghe way?
NTU has 4 nice squash courts in the basement of their gym.
I think you have to be affiliated with NTU to get a membership card,
and that both players have to have a card.
The courts at NTU are open to the public - they are $300 at peak times and $200 off-peak (6am - 5pm weekdays). Courts can be booked on 33665959 ext 600. The courts at in the sports centre at the north side of the campus (furthest away from Gongguan station). PM me if you are interested in a game.
Know of any courts out in Zhonghe? Or would NTU be the closest?
Me too. I always gravitated more towards racketball than squash back in Canada. I’ve yet to find a racketball venue here. I’m definitely up for it if anyone knows where to go.

Don’t they use the same court?
My uncle and I used to play squash each week and we’d warm down with some raquetball. We used the squash court for both.
There are good squash courts at the Ming Seng Road roundabout in the building opposite Acess English School.

Ya, I think they use more or less the same court. Most people use them interchangeably anyway.
Anyone play squash in Taichung? I’d sure love a game… night markets are making me fat…
NTU courts: good, but expect extremely uninspired staff (I know it is 3:20. But the court is free and I will pay you from 3pm for the full hour- No, you can only pay at three oclock)
Minseng/Sanmin Has a sports center with two courts, one is really big- for doubles/raquetball?
Minseng/Sanmin has a community which lets others use their not bad courts in their basement, though showers aint great.
Near KMT HQ by Chaing Kai Shek park is a professionally ran sports center.
Beitou rock climbing sports center has good courts.
I really wanna start playing again. I (was) low intermediate stage. Anyone up? Thinking every Tue lunchtimes, but am flexible!
