I’m glad they didn’t let him in. :bravo: The Sri Lankan Military even had a cartoon a few months ago on their official site lampooning the Federal Liberals in Canada as supporters of these terrorists. Canadians didn’t let in George Galloway–who never met a Baathist or socialist dictatorship regime he didn’t like. Why should Sri Lanka let in an ideological compatriot that seems to support the same type of questionable causes? 
Or maybe they were afraid he would ruin the economy just by his presence in the country.
I think the Tamils would be perfectly justified in going after (Theravada) Buddhist temples. If not for the Buddhists, they would have had a peace / autonomy deal several years ago. Let the Buddhists see how it feels.

Agreed. Given his quite blatant support for the Tamils, it’s shocking that any of his advisors did not convince him of the folly of his intent to visit Sri Lanka.
