Hi I was wondering if people working in Taiwan with a work permit can develop their own business? Or do they have to be a citizen? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Anyone can start a business in Taiwan, but it doesn’t mean you can officially work for the company you set up … you need a work permit for that … and the one you have doesn’t count.
