What a screwy mess. If you’ve never seen it, the original “Stepford Wives” made in 1975 was excellent, and it wasn’t a damn comedy. That’s Hollywood – instead of coming up with something new and creative, they regurgitate old stuff and sully the memory of truly good past work.
Yeah, I mean, Bette Midler? Bette Midler? A Stepford wife?
