I recently discovered that Taiwanese have learned the word shit but have been using as if it is a normal word to use.
One sign I saw attached to an elementary school says “please pick up your dogs shit” for example.
I wonder how this kind of thing occurs?
Lack of context movie translations?
The idiomatic language in English is hard to follow? Translating “Clean up / pick up after dog” can be weird. We do also lack a non-juvenile, non-coase, non-formal word for poop/ #2/ shit/ crap/ defecate.

If I ever move back to my home country this is one of the things I’ll miss about Taiwan

Taking them into “custody” until the parents pay the “fee” to have them put back into the foetus. There’re a lot of scams like that in Chinese hospitals
