How about taking the Great Dane that’s on the street near my house.

Do it before I slap a saddle on that thing’s back and charge for pony rides.

A Great Dane Stray?!?
Yup.
Your girls like ponies?
I don’t think my missus would be up for that - perhaps if we could train the animal to pull the stroller, there might be a chance.
Now that’s whack. There are nearly no Great Danes in taiwan (aprt from me off course), and one ending up as a stray. Guess the gentle giant is scaring the bejesus out of the locals.

I love Great Danes - especially blues like the one in the pic you pulled off the internet. Do you have a pic of the stray Dane? It would be a hard sell to convince Vanessa, though…

What a beautiful dog!
I saw some bloke with two great danes down by Taipei train station a few months ago.
Why the hell people would buy a dog of that size in Taipei is beyond me. Each to their own I guess.
I just hope Maoman can take it. I doubt the locals would be very nice to a stray dog that size and it would need a lot of food to keep itself healthy.
Most great Danes I have come into contact with have been very gentle.

Its head comes up to my chest and it runs like a friggin horse. The one in the picture is small compared to the one here.
I’ll go out and check tomorrow and see if it’s still around and see if it will take some food.

They’re less uncommon than you might think.
This pup was found abandoned a couple of years ago in New Garden City. Successfully adopted.

The guy who walks his Great Danes -he’s got three- is an retired exmilitary who lived abroad quite a while -his Spanish is not bad. He originally got them with the purpose of breeding them, but quickly realized that there was not much of a market. I got a few pics of them, as he used to walk them in the mornings near my workplace. Lovely, friendly dogs.
Hope this one finds a loyal master that can appreciate such a beauty.
“He was such a cute little puppy when we bought him. They didn’t tell us he would get so big. I’m sure he’ll survive just fine on the streets. . .Besides, he’s a bad dog anyway: whenever I come home from dinner and a few drinks after working late at night I’ll find he pissed on the floor to get back at me. . .Bad dog.”
You guys should appreciate this little gem:
A car thief drove off in a Toyota 4x4 - without seeing the enormous Great Dane-Alsatian cross in the back seat.
He failed to spot 11-month-old Diesel through the car’s steamed-up windows after Karen Griggs, 41, left the car with the keys in the ignition.
But he hit the brakes and fled after driving just 30 yards when nine-stone Diesel woke up.
Karen’s husband Nick, 41, of Brixham, Devon, said: “Who needs a car alarm when you’ve got the Hound of the Baskervilles in your back seat?”
Help stray Great Danes, give Mr He a home.
This is Diesel. (Nine stone, by the way, is 126 pounds). A great deal of dog.

Sorry boys. I went over to the place we saw the dog Sunday and it wasn’t there. Spoke to the bing lang xiao jie and she said that it had an injured foot. But she also said the dog frequents that place as it’s across the street from a new school being constructed. So I thought I’d look around. I did and ran into a shithead building foreman. Asked him and he said that someone took the dog away. I didn’t press him on who took him as I can’t stand him, but his made a gesture towards the construction workers squaters’ camp, so I’m guessing one of them took it.
