白蘭氏黑醋栗葉黃素 Supplements.... no idea what. Get it off my hand

Someone visited my luthier shop, and gave me a box of this thing:

白蘭氏黑醋栗葉黃素

It’s this exact package, 8 bottles in the package.

Thing is I don’t have a use for this (as it’s probably not very tasty and expensive as shit).

So someone please take it off my hand. It retails for around 500nt or so… If you got a use for this, or knows someone who is crazy for this, get it off my hand. If you want to pay me for it, that’s great but if not that’s fine too. I just think this stuff will sit in my shop gathering dust anyways, until the rats get to it, so might as well go to someone who actually wants/needs it. Says in the back that it’s good until 11/28/2022.

Next time, tell whoever gives you something like this, that you are allergic to it.
Otherwise, accept it and try to sell it for whatever you can get.

I thought of that too, but it’s worth maybe 500nt retail from a store.

Not worth the hassle for me to try and sell it and have nobody even taking a look at it, let alone buy it. I already got like 10+ items in my shop that is sitting in Ruten hell because nobody will buy it at ANY price. Pretty sure whoever gave it to me got it as a gift from someone else.

So might as well give the stuff away.

that made me laugh out loud

Yea I’m pretty sure these Brands supplements are NEVER EVER consumed. But regifted at least 10 times.

Visiting an elder relative? These are great stuff to dump onto them!

This is one of those Filial Piety items.

“Unlocking greatness”?!

I’ve already invested in that like 200 times.

Put up pics of those 10+ items.
You never know if someone on this forum might just want to re-gift them for you with a few Chiangers sent your way.

Here is my Ruten “store”. Items are going at glacial pace. I had a CO2 laser power supply that actually went… still got the tube. Tube is good but maybe it might make good lab glassware (such as using it as a still).

Yes I don’t have 10 items on it, because some of them I just don’t even want to bother posting since it’s worth maybe 300nt and nobody will buy it. The only item that really only goes around here is smartphones, GPU, or something of that nature. Assuming you are willing to let them go at drastically lower price than you were hoping for.

I got a xiaomei Wifi router, a couple of USB webcam/security cameras, etc. that I never bother listing… will get 50nt for each of them if I am lucky.

Then there is about 20+ guitar picks that nobody wants… that is sitting around gathering dust.

Um…after looking at the site, I think I have some ideas why it might not be working for you…

Perhaps it would help if you improved the photos?
I mean, the background of an unmade bed with strange stains doesn’t exactly inspire confidence (though maybe you know your target market better  )

If you are selling regularly, then it might be worth investing in some backdrop sheets with a plain colour or neutral pattern, and maybe even a lightbox and display pedestal for showing off your wares in a better light. A bit more in the description could also help, e.g. give some examples of how the product could be used. The guitar picks one is better, but perhaps some videos of them in use would help.

The cat is cute though :smiley_cat:

I’m not sure it has anything to do with photo.

I’m not a professional Ruten seller. Sure if I was I’d definitely invest in some kind of professional backdrop but I’m only selling stuff I have on hand and want to get rid of. Most ebay seller doing the same have pictures like this (many Taiwanese seller have way worse pics, blurry and all that).

It’s just that Taiwanese for some reason (HK has the same problem) do not like buying and selling used stuff, and if someone sells used stuff in Taiwan they are sold at 80% of the price of the new item, making it pointless to buy used stuff to begin with.

I think it just has to do with the fact that Asia has no real used market unless it’s mass market items (such as electronics).

photos make a huge difference

Yes… I often see useful stuff for sale… but generally avoid because most listings suffer one or more of the following problems:

  1. Way overpriced… esp old macs and iphones
  2. Wife objects
  3. Too much trouble to negotiate
  4. Can’t be bothered to collect
  5. Half used personal care items, etc…! Seriously?
  6. Poor descriptions
  7. Hate dealing with crap that has “issues”

I used to think I was doing the planet a favor… but somethings really are better off in the recycle or incinerator.
