Surf Floor plan New edit

I hope some can help me. I need the interior diagram of the Toyota Surf (+/- 2004) with and without third row seating.

I’m interested in an overhead view showing the space between the seats and between the cargo space in the back with and without third row seating. Thanks.

Thanks for all your help. I’m editing this message to reflect a change. Mom is coming in from the states. She is bringing a friend because she won’t travel alone.

In a later post I ask how can I fit four adults, two babeis a stroller for the twins and a five year old into my Zace Surf safely. Thanks.

You may try posting here first, as I’m not sure anyone here will happen to have a diagram on hand.

Edit: On second glances the forums mentioned above may be dealing with the Toyota pickup known in most places as the Hilux. Although the Surf as we know it in Taiwan may be called Toyota Hilux Surf in some areas, it’s a little confusing.
The Surf over here in Taiwan seems like a slightly local design although there are some similarities between it and the foreign 4Runner

There is a 4runner forum HERE

I hope it can be of some help.

Isn’t the Surf here branded as Hiace?

This is the closest blueprint I have found. You can email their site for a full spec blueprint I suppose.

The Toyota Hiace is one of these.

And the Surf:

Weird. The Surfs I’ve seen here are like vans, not SUVs. More like the Zace or something. Never saw a Surf like the one in that pic here.

I know the names for these things vary a bit, but at least all of the results I get back for Surf in Taiwan are “Zace Surf” such as all those picturedHere And the Hiace are pictured

Here.

If there are any other variations however, let me know as I’ll be pleased to know.

There is (or was) a Hilux Surf on the UK market, originally based on the Hilux pickup truck, but it got progressively tarted up and distanced from its roots.

The Surf here is a tarted up version of the Zace “station wagon” (not the truck). I believe it only comes as an automatic. I think there’s a similar variant of the Freeca

I didn’t know there was a Surf version of the Hiace, but it makes sense. If it exists its probably the one of most use to surfers, space-wise.

My impression was that “Surf” is a semi-generic designation used (at least by Toyota) for SUVs based on a tarted-up commercial vehicle.

Brainfart, sorry. I saw two of those SUV-type Surfs this morning and also the one I was thinking of, which is much much older and does indeed look more like a van than a car.

Thanks for all your help. I never knew how difficult it is to find an overhead view (like a floor plan) of my Zace Surf in order to prove that we won’t have enough room to carry the double stroller if we use the carseats and the third row seating when my mom and her friend comes to visit.

My Mom won’t travel alone so we see no alternative but to ditch the car seats and hold the babies. Scary yes, but that was what was done when my brother and I were kids back in the states.

There will be four adults, one child (5) and two babies. Gotta Zace Surf… How can we stuff it? We normally carry one double stroller for the twins. It sits comforably in the back when the third row seating is folded up. With the third row seating set up, I can’t seem to fit the stroller in. Even if it is standing up. Ideas please.
