Sym GT Evo 125cc scooter mods?

If you’re thinking about the Racing King 180 and finally get one, you’ll like the extra power, but then you’ll have regrets. You’ll be thinking “Damn, I should have gone for a 250”. I’d say you’d be right thinking that too. Besides, you’ll have to pay more taxes on a 180 cc scooter. And guess what,
you’d be paying the same amount in taxes for a 250, so why not go for a 250? Not sure what 250s you’ve seen that you like, but they’ve certainly gone up in price since I bought mine 5 years ago. However, I’ve heard that the Aeon 250 is really cheap compared to the others around and it doesn’t
look like some damn canoe like some of the other 250s I’ve seen. Don’t know how they ride, but my friend now has one and hopefully I’ll get a chance soon to see how it is. It’s just too bad he’s 2+ hours away by freeway, or I would have done it already.

is it this one? Looks like a really nice scooter. You can go to a scooter store and tell them you want more power…but not just any store. There are a couple of places that can modify scooters…There is an amazing 2F place in Bade Road that sells all the stuff to make your bike look like a Christmas tree:D

I find that buying ‘special’ oil at some places makes my bike go faster ( I have a Hartford Magic 125 and those things are like tanks on the road…they don’t go fast) I’m not sure what’s special about that oil, but it comes in huge blue drums and it is marked 150, 250 and 350.

Oh, and don’t let people tell you that this make or that make is better…I had a little SYM Dio 5occ and rode that little white devil from Taipei to Sanchong every day for 3 years (and i bought it 2nd hand for NT3000) Mechanics here prefer bikes that they know, but I think you fall in love with the look of a bike, not always the statistics.

I ended up getting a yamaha bwsx, started modding it already, so far, variator, filter, lightweight fan, soon to be exhaust and next year a big bore kit to around 200cc, so , even though she is still a 125cc, the small changes i have made have made quite a difference, so for now, i am happy with my project scooter…
