So in 2029, Taiwan will look like Blade Runner. Except with flying scooters. Of course that means traffic will be even more dangerous than usual.
Everyone will have a synth helper, basically a robot that does housework and looks after the kids. The problems with the first models were worked out in the 2X model, and they no longer kill the kids theyāre supposed to watch. At least not as often.
STDs will have been eliminated since everyone will have VR sex like in āDemolition Manā and we will all talk with something called Google Voice that can modulate even the nerdiest voice into something sexy and deep. Itās 2019 and Iām not even excited anymore when I see those scooters flying. At the beginning it was partly funny, partly infuriating to see them, but now Iām too used to it.
