Taiwan is screwed! ;()

Edit: Sorry. My mistake! No need to worry after all!

Grief. If there’s ever a war, it’ll be like Dad’s Army meets the Keystone Kops.

what a stupid way to dive to the ground

With his grenade throwing technique, you’d think he’d have developed better diving skills by now.

The instructor was on the ball though. I suspect he’ll have them ready to go.

Yeah he was … but, you know, lipstick, pigs, etc.

Still had balls to save his guy though.

LOL @ Chinese SF training. You guys obviously haven’t seen the shit that SAS troopers done :stuck_out_tongue: Using live ammo in training exercises with hostages being either royalty or other SAS members.

And people complain about English teachers using sticky balls in class. At least Taiwanese kids get some coordination skills as part of their education.

Yes, I was thinking that they’d surely have them throw blanks until they were blue in the face before giving them a live one. No?
Perhaps his pitching arm was a bit sore after too much practice. :eh:

Note to my soldiering self:
Things I can screw up and barely survive:

  1. Getting the mess hall dishes spotlessly clean.
  2. Buttoning my shirt with the button row perfectly aligned with the row of opposing holes.
  3. Putting my boots on the correct feet.
  4. Remembering my superior’s rank.

Things I shouldn’t screw up for fear of losing my life:

  1. Throwing grenades in the proper direction.
  2. Pointing my weapon away from my face when firing.
  3. Wearing my parachute when on parachuting exercises.
  4. Remembering which side I am fighting for.
