Hey, is there a place online that I can get maps of Taiwan, maybe even in English?
I picked Taichung as a place to live so I was hoping to get a map of there specifically.

In short, no. Well, there’s a decent online map of Taipei, and some okay (but very dated) maps of tourist sites at the main tourism website.
But you can pick up maps at the tourist office in Taichung train station. If you are overseas your local trade office may have some.
Of course Lonely Planet and Rough Guide both have Taichung maps.
The Rough Guide has more coverage of Taichung’s “sites” and restaurants if that is of interest to you.

You mean order one online or use them online?

BTW: Google Maps now covers Taiwan, too. Some place names are romanized, streets aren’t though.

Google maps works great and is up to date. Mostly Chinese though…
