The book maybe of particular interest to people here in Taiwan as it has a chapter on Taiwanese martial arts history. What that chapter does is break down the history into the Qing, Japanese, KMT and modern periods.

As a writer of martial arts history books myself (although mostly focused on Okinawan arts during the 19th century), it looks fascinating and I’m sure will be of great benefit to the martial arts community. Best of luck, Brian! :bravo:
