I live close to City Hall and after 5:30, the network quality on TWM is just terrible: many failed attempt to make a phone call, got disconnected after 2 mins. Last Thursday, I was on a call at 7:30pm and was getting disconnected every 2 minutes same thing if I make or receive the call !
Am I the only one to experience this ?
During the day, it works fine and their data download speed is just brilliant peaking at 300 Kbit/s !
Yes!!! TWM is my sole internet connection - and like you, during the daytime I can tether on it and work fine. However, hit around 5/6 and it goes to crap.
Doesn’t get better until around 10/11.
My GF uses Chunghua and if I use her connection (during the TWM bad times) it’s totally fine.
I was thinking of getting Chunghwa but I have to use Blackberry and TWM is the only one proposing it in Taiwan…
At my workplace in Gongguan, I get no signal from TWM–none, at any time. Once I step outside, things are fine. What’s up with that?!?
