30 years ago if you told me that airlines would be fined for jet fuel emissions that goes…who knows where…I’d give you my aluminum hat
unfortunately geography and being the industrial heart of Italy don’t help… And being also in an area that needs heating in winter also doesn’t help.
Taipei air is not good, it’s better than many places already, but it’s not good and I feel it in my nose. Also here geography doesn’t help, we are in a crater and only really one canal to get fresh air and polluted air out (Tamsui river mouth).
TW should keep this policy of affordable fuel as much as possible, it is one of the very few gov handouts, and it works tbh. I would make also the point to increase as much as possible public transport subsidy and investment to limit as much as possible the need for the populace in urban areas to drive private vehicles.
