We are already seeing a lot more older people working in convenience stores and fast food joints. 20 years ago those jobs were filled exclusively by young people.
Perhaps surprisingly, the female labor participation rate is only about 50%. Taiwan could have get another 500,000 workers or so if 10% more working-age women joined the labor force.
