[Kaohsiung Software Park Phase II to be Completed by the End of Next Year] Construction on the “Asia Bay Smart Technology Building,” Phase II of Kaohsiung Software Park, began in February last year. The steel frame structure has reached the 8th floor (out of 11), with a total floor area of approximately 10,462 pings (approximately 333 square meters). It is expected to be completed by the end of 2026 and ready for occupancy by 2027.
Previously, 20 companies, including Elan Microelectronics, Tatung World Technology, and Yenhua Technology, have expressed their intention to move in. Coupled with the “Southern Chip Design Industry Promotion Base” established last year in the Kaohsiung Software Park, it is hoped that more IC design companies will be attracted.
Kaohsiung Software Park Phase II is currently the fastest-completed new commercial office building in Asia Bay for small and medium-sized IT companies. The South-to-South Base in Special Trade Zone 3, which is the fastest progressing, is currently undergoing continuous wall construction and will not be completed until 2030.
