Pingtung County Zhongzheng Baseball Stadium
Considering that the Pingtung County Zhongzheng Baseball Stadium has been used for nearly 40 years, the venue facilities are old and insufficient, so the Pingtung County Sports and Leisure Park Development Plan was implemented to build the only Pingtung Sports and Leisure Park in the south. The estimated construction period is about 29 months. , The total area of the park is 9.8 hectares, divided into two major themes, sports baseball area and leisure landscape area. Each space planning concept is as follows:
- Sports baseball area:
Considering the location of Pingtung Station on the high-speed railway, the main entrance is planned to be located in the center of the south side of the project area, and the sports baseball area is set in the central area of the project area, covering an area of about 6.2 hectares, including professional baseball fields and compound parking spaces. The concept of baseball as the main force creates future national baseball games, giving Pingtung and internationally a place to connect, creating bright spots and charm. - Leisure landscape area:
Taking into account the needs of people in Gaoping area for sports and recreation, the planned leisure landscape area is located on the west side of the project area, covering an area of about 3 hectares. Through the design of landscape parks and ecological detention ponds, an open space environment with multiple functions such as flood control, ecological landscape and park rest is created ; In addition, the green corridor between Gaoping River and the project park is perfectly constructed with the retreat axis of the isolated green belt.
