The Kaohsiung Ambassador Hotel has passed the application for reconstruction. It is expected to be demolished in the third and fourth quarters of this year at the earliest. In the future, a new residential and commercial building with 55 floors and a height of 240 meters will be built, which will become the third tallest skyscraper in Kaohsiung.

They’re re-doing part of the park that follows the red line, near Zhongshan Station. A couple blocks worth. Not sure why, as it seemed fine before. It’s fenced off, says it’ll be done Sept 2024.
