I’ve been searching youtube for Taiwan Road Rage and I have to wonder what would have happened in some of those videos if the locals here could own guns.
A lot of the Taiwan road rage videos feature some guy or guys beating a car or beating somebody with a bat, stick or metal pole. If they are beating the car, they seem to attack the driver or are beating the windows with the intent of attacking the driver. Sometimes, somebody gets cut off, but not hit and the car or scooter tries to chase the guy down. Other times, there’s a bump and one car tries to block the other.
I wonder if there would be more deaths in Taiwan due to road rage if the locals were allowed to own guns. Taiwanese drivers seem to have a short temper and instead of attacking with bats, would they shoot the other person? Maybe it’s not Taiwanese style to kill a person, but when a temper flares up, I wonder what would happen.
