Not sure about a “professional soccer league” in the sense that you and I would think of that term but Taiwan does have a national league that just completed a season very recently.
I’m afraid the situation in Taiwan in regards to football is a bit confused because so far as I knew the league was in its first season, as suggested by the FIFA background article you gave us the link for, but the winning team, Taipower, claimed that it has won ten years in a row!

Plus, I know that the local football association is a den of in-fighting, backstabbing and other petty personal stuff. It’s all a bit disorganised and hard to care about. I’m normally mad about football but I just can’t be bothered following it here.
