Aināt got no truck with no wind.
Taipei four months of wondering if there is really a sun in the sky.
Still canāt forget a few years back when Feb had like only ~2.8 hours of sunshine the whole month and realizing I wouldnāt die if I jumped out of a low floor window.

Nice weather forecast for Taipei today, cool and cloudy but no rainā¦. Took out the bike for a ride and rain rain rain

Ah, the microclimates of Taipei. Great temperatures (maybe even a little cool!) in the hills out of Danshui for my ride today. Tiny tiny bit of sprinkling rain at one point for a couple minutes, but not enough to wet the ground.

My favourite is when Iāve got a moving wall of rain right behind me and Iām racing along the road in the dry, with the rain following behind at about the same speed.
But thatās only happened to me twice. Amazing feeling thatās worth the drenching Iām about to get.

If faced with such a situation again, do yourself a favour and book a ticket to somewhere sunny with tasty food and a refreshing change of scenery.
Out of many options, I recommend Taitung.

Living here is a whole other thing.
Dang, Taipei weather isnāt good ever but this late October/November itās just worseā¦ November is supposed to be the first month of the year but next week Monday/Tuesday looks like the next typhoon will hit the north and west of Taiwan.
Donāt think there ever was sun for more than 10 minutes at yangminshan since two weeksā¦ Friday and Saturday finally look quite good
And today is way above the latest daysā¦ Just getting hot as soon as sun comes outā¦
I assume there are other forecasts out there, and Iām not sure of the provenance of this one, but it looks ā¦ interesting? Straight up the island, in around Kaohsiung and out around Yilan.
