I am just curious about the number of Rave Clubs available in Taipei or Taichun, because I like RobZombie, Rage,ClownPosse and some Rap too!!! And of course, I looking for clubs with a high number of single girls 18 to 26 looking for good times in them also. So where are the best places for a guy like me to crash?
Also, do any of you ladies think I can model in Taiwan? I am 6’2 and athletic swimmer biuld, but I will probably weigh about 175pounds by the time I get there.

There are no raves or clubs in Taiwan. Unfortunately, very few single women. Try Japan or Korea. If you still decide to come to Taiwan, maybe you should give Jeelong a shot.
Rob Zombie, Rage, Insane Clown Posse? Why would you be looking for raves if you listen to these guys? Have you ever been to a rave? I thought they played electronic music at those things.
actually i’ve heard that jinmen and matsu both have a phenomenally high ratio of single girls, of course you’ll have to compete with all of the army guys for their attentions. also, because of all the single young people there, word on the street is that they also have a wicked night scene!
also, i’ve heard that lots of military types are heavy into club drugs because service is mandatory - so i’m sure you’ll have lots of like minded people to party with.
i went to each of these places ONCE. i just couldn’t hang…

Try to get some teaching gigs in the Lu Gang area. However the competition is hard, as all the cool foreign dudes want to go there. Better sign up with a good cram school like Hess early.
Should that Fail, try Jilong. Vibrant port with a huge rave scene driven by the internationalized young community there. Neon lights everywhere every night.

Seems to be a lot more chicks the further you get away from the city. Though overall, I’d say the balance between chicks and pigs is about even!

Thanks, but no drugs for me my friend. I was an Army man E-4 Specialist and I plan to hone my martial arts skills also while I on Formosa.

Okay, I am letting everyone know now that I am still in the Continental U.S. and I have only lived in Panama so I don’t know much about Taiwan, so have your laughing on my ignorant azz, because I can take all kinds of punishment from your upper crust folks.
Well, you’ll get a lot of this - such is life. You’ll also get a lot of people trying to wind you up in order to practise their own martial arts skills. Unless you want to spend every evening out on the town punching and fighting you’ll have to get used to the random abuse. I’m not saying it’s right. Anyway, this is a bulletin board, not real life, you shouldn’t be taking things personally. If you lurk here for a while you will see how things operate and how people talk to each other.
Oh no that is not what I intend to do. I mean Martial Arts Schools and more formal training. I am not stupid you know. Humans are preety much the same wherever you go. You just need to compensate for their access to public resources, food, water, sex, etc and apply it to your current situation. I don’t prejudge and I know that down here on Earth anyone can die at any time regardless of what country, culture, so God, Buddha, Allah and the winds willing–Chance favors the prepared mind. That is why I am networking with my ex in Taipei, a good friend teaching in Esl now in Taichung and of course the people I admire the most like you Hexuan–so keep up the good work.

I tend to just concentrate on one and with over 26million of them there and over 3 billion women on the planet there I am sure I can stumble into one–sheesh. So I will go where I please thank you though. Besides my actual intent is to learn and swell my bank account to go to law school in Hawaii–not waste my time and money drinking and preying on the locals. This will be a 5 year mission then I have to grow up and get a real career ya know. You are correct initially, but I just didn’t organize my post correctly, It should have read looking for Mosh pits, Raves, concerts and then clubs that feature music from Rob Zombie, Rage against the Machine, Insane Clown Posse-- of course some rappin and your Led Zeppelin, etc.
I am easy to please–if the women like the club I like the club, but like I said before the women are second on the list, I am looking for excitement and adventure the women will show up accordingly. Thanks friend.
