The PC market increased by up to 11% due to people teleworking, with Acer and ASUS growing the most out of the leading brands, both expected over 20% for the year.

Taiwan’s Covid-19 response possibly helped the two Taiwanese laptop makers avoid too much of a disruption to their supply chains.

“In most countries, Acer benefitted from work-from-home and distance learning needs, in addition to the excellent end-to-end supply chain collaboration with its suppliers,” Acer stated.
