The banner says "helping those interested in learning more about Taiwan or thinking about coming for travel or business.’

If you were coming to Taiwan for travel or on a business trip would you find it useful?
We really do need a first rate site about Taiwan and I was hoping Taiwanstuff.com would be it.

Please give them suggestions about how to improve.

Here are a few of mine:

  1. Fix or delete all the broken links.
  2. Update all the legal info. I know you warn that ‘all the info on this page is out of date’ but that does not really help.
  3. Put some pics up. The site looks boring and amateurish. Please don’t take offense - I’m trying to give your suggestions for improvements is all.
  4. Provide useful information not just links.

Is there are a better site than Taiwanstuff out there? If not, then it’s up to the people or person who runs the site to pull his/her finger out. Taiwan’s expats and expats-to-be need you!

What are other people’s impressions of the site and how can it be improved?

um but isn’t most of this info available in forumosa anyway? if not directly then just by asking in the appropriate forum. my feeling is that there seem to be a lot of sites like this popping up that cross reference each other…course i may be wrong

…which is why it would be nice to have one big site that covers everything.
Most info is available here at forumosa but because this is a forum the info is spread all over the place. It would be nice to have it all nicely collected together.
You can see what taiwanstuff is trying to do but it isn’t much more than a collection of links and many of those are defunct.
I suppose it comes down to time and money. There’s no money in it and a really good site would take up quite a bit of time to set up and maintain.
