Simple, tell them you don’t file as a non resident not living or working in Australia. Ask the staff why they are not filing Australian Tax records and see their faces goes this does not compute I don’t live or work in Australia.
Also even though my NAB lists me as being in Taiwan I also did not provide them a Taiwan tax ID number. Reason for this, no such person by my Australian name lives in Taiwan. My HH has deleted that and the only thing that might show I’m Australian was what I was born there. If you staff here want to know if I have other citizenships I just show them I renounced Australian citizenship. I do not have any accounts using my Australian name here, at least not since the 1990’s
