Saw Taken, the new Liam Neeson movie while abroad last week. Awesome. Just a standard kidnap story with Neeson as an ex-CIA operative hunting for his daughter in Europe. This one has an edge due to very slick production values, sharp dialogue and bone-crunching action scenes. It relies a tad too much on coincidence but Neeson carries the movie when this happens and sees it through to a satisfying end. Just be wary that it takes a while to get going, but it’s worth it because the rest, especially Neeson is so damn good. 8/10
