If you’d been running your own trading and product development business here in Asia for the last thirty years like I have you’d know what I’m talking about.

Ahhh here we go, Trump doubles down on the $2000 USD tariff dividend. Doesn’t at all equate to the amount robbed from the American people through his shit tariffs, but it will appease MAGA mouthbreathers too stupid to realize the con.

Remember the DOGE dividend that never happened? Remember how Trump has a serial record of stiffing contractors?

Nahhhh he isn’t going to screw _you_ over, MAGA meatball. Riight. 😉

Sheesh, I really am so close to denouncing citizenship; my last hope is for a midterm bloodbath (as long as Trump deploying ICE goons etc doesn’t completely throw it, as foreshadowed)

Yeah it’s getting old. I hear talk of giving it back to consumers and super charging the economy, but that’s about as believable as those $2,000 checks that were supposed to be dished out.

Seems there is a limit to how many times even his most ardent supporters can fall for it

I really hope Taiwan is holding on for the investments planned in US as part of the trade deal, not that those investments are bad as they would anyway happen, but just for show that we can not stand all these tantrums and dementia tariffs on/off clowning ongoing

Those investments would have been forward dated years. Suits everybody. Japan or was it Korea had to hand over billions in cash into a fund which the white house controlled 😐.

Those were only dreams by Trump, where he said that they will pay, he decides and all profit goes to him. The real deals are far from that, as investments are not made by the governments, they are made by companies who anyway had planned to build new factories in the US since long before

Right, but guess who will get some fat tariff refunds I bet? Corporations.

Don the Con. Though I feel like Lutnick had a meaty hand (maybe both hands) in this.

I’m sure it must have felt good.

And I agree…enough carrot from the US…some more stick.

Malaysia is just upset because 30% of their oil is out of commission and they don’t have a serious navy to send to the strait.

I still don’t understand why Americans voted against their interests like this. A convicted fraud and known liar who couldn’t run a casino, now his illegal tariffs have been an unnecessary tax on the world, and it still isn’t enough to pay for his unnecessary war of aggression
