I bought a house for NT$7m years ago. Now I’m selling it for NT$26m.
What government tax would I have to pay when selling it ?
Ballpark figures would gladly be accepted. I’ve looked online & am more confused than ever so reaching out from people with experience.

I’ve had my house for 12 years.
If you have children, you may be better off gifting it to them and having them sell it. I’m not sure though.

You’ll have to check with a pro on this. We recently sold and bought and it depends (I think) on the percentage of the land that is attributed to your unit. We moved from a 10-unit building to a 62-unit one, so although the new place was double the price, we had to pay due to the unit having less land. I’m a bit hazy on the details though.
