Any Forumosans out there who are into playing Poker??? Maybe we could invite you to come for a monthly tournament plus a relaxing weekend getaway in Hualien? 
We would have it in Hualien
a) such a beautiful place
b) only 3 hours train ride from Taipei (sorry, 5 hours for Taichung)
c) it’s hard for us to travel with 2 kids

Ginny. I am a poker fan but pleased be warned that playing poker for money in Taiwan is very illegal so best not to mention to much on public forums!
Don’t forget, holding your taxes is also illegal.

We have a group that plays weekly in Taipei. I will ask them if they are up for a weekend trip. Do you play tournament style, or buy in? Do you play other games as well? We play a lot of Omaha.
