I was teaching a Taiwanese guy one-on-one the other day and he told me that there is a lot of money to be made in Taiwan teaching English through Skype. He personally knows some work colleagues who are learning English this way. People can pay me through paypal and so on. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience of this kind of teaching. How much should I charge? I charge 600 TND per hour to teach English face-to-face. So, I presume somewhat less than that for Skype teaching. How can I find people to teach through Skype?

Spend a little bit of money and pay for some space advertising on facebook. You can get region specific advertising with them, and it’s actually pretty cheap considering the amount of exposure it’ll get you
Teaching in my undercrackers does sound appealing, but 600 NT$ an hour would be selling myself a bit cheap.
