Teaching in Japan

I’m not sure if this is the right place to be looking and none of the other forums quite seem to fit either, but does anyone know much about how to go about teaching in Japan? I’m considering it as my next stop so need lots of info. I’ve heard good things about the JET scheme but they will only interview me in the UK.
